Rathalos armor test run by Grethe--B Rathalos armor test run by Grethe--B
oh wow...

10 months ago, I started on my biggest project yet!
From my favourite fandom and inspiration, Monster Hunter.
I started making the female Rathalos blademaster armor from scratch. with the same choice of materials as my best friend, Rakel Cotino since we both decided to make a huge project together.

Now it is done, just did the test run and only smaller details needs a fix, which means I can use this. these images are the first time I even try this costume on for realz.
a little bit hard to move, but worth it!

the corset will be better strapped on since I need a little bit of assistanse to get this on XD, but it works as it should.

sadly, since I had a terrible deadline and a lot to do, I only managed to take photos of the progress.
the only tutorial I have out from it, is the scale work.

mostly it is made with sleeping mats/training mats, Wall coat, fun/craft foam

here is my wordpress with the progress:

I don´t think I will sell this costume as it is modelled after my body and don´t really fit
others well XD and making a new one would take too much time and money as I spent up to a total of 5000NOK
and + hours of work it would almost be 10 000NOK for selling.
but making this costume over again is not really something I will do XD;;, so tired
from making the first one.

but thanks for the interest :) if I did costume commissions, I would have taken the challenge
